About the RR review: I miss something... like, I don't know, eh... talk about the songs themselves?? In my opinion there's more side-talk about Kiske, the Strato issue, Tobias Sammet than the album and songs themselves. It has more in common with a press release than a review. Just my thoughts, though.  |

Some notes about the review of Revolution Renaissance's album. The singer Pasi Rantanen has been in Thunderstone, not Thunderstorm. And he is no longer the singer in Thunderstone, he has been replaced by Rick Altzi (At Vance, Sandalinas). But hey, to err is only human.

It says in your Eastpak Antidote-review that Sonic Syndicate's album is called The Awakening - but I'm pretty sure it's Only Inhuman?

Thank you Tommy for an excellent review on the Heading Northe album. I´ve really been looking forward to it, and I did not get disappointed. And I agree with you 100% that this is one of the greatest metal albums of all time.

Tommy: is copying text from an official band biography your idea of a good review? Did you not think anyone would notice?

I am just going to assume that you are referring to Machinae Supremacy. Of course I thought that many would notice, but I did not think anyone would mind or even reflect over it. It is not the first time I have done it, and probably not the last either. Please tell me why copying a few facts from the biography would be so bad? It is just plain facts about the band, not my own thoughts or analysis about the music. Take a look around at other reviews on the net and you will see the same thing in plenty of cases. Are you in some way connected to the band and want me to remove or alter it? Please say so in that case, and it shall be done in a jiffy. //Tommy |
