Hi Tommy
I gave Arch Enemy's Doomsday Machine a couple of listenings at the metalstore and yes, it's very good... except for the 'slower' songs. Uptempo is no problem at all, but going slower = reaching a rather boring level and it makes you go back to the faster songs. Fact is, there's not enough material to make you forget the more 'boring' songs, which means: no puchase. I think I'll have a go at their previous works. And/Or I might buy the album later after all. But that remains to be seen.

Hi guys, just wanna say: error in the Arch Enemy review. There are no chalices and score. It ends with the Summary titel.  I'll try to give the album a listen asap, but I sure hope I'll like it more than you, having read the review.

Hm... just having checked the 'about' page again:
The only kind of metal that is banned from this site is the non-melodic, new and modern "music", also called Nu Metal, that goatee-bearded and woolhat ornamented guys are trying to trick us with on a daily basis in the so-called mainstream media. Even though we are all of the belief that any man or woman that sincerely is devoting a great part of their life to making music of any kind should be praised and utterly respected, the line has to be drawn somewhere.
